Hanover, March 2008 ContiTech Vibration Control has thoroughly revised and reissued the SCHWINGMETALL© product catalogue. "The printed catalogue now provides more information and a better overview on fewer pages," explains product developer engineer Henning Ziegenmeyer, who was in charge of the revision process.

The catalogue is arranged by the product groups Classic (buffers, railstrips, compression and shear mounts), Classic Plus (conical, dome, flange and special mounts, angle bearings, and torsion elements) and Premium (hydro mounts). In an introductory section, all products and their main characteristics are presented in text and photo. In the second section, the products are listed together with all dimensions, spring stiffness values, detailed product parameters and order numbers. A third, theoretical section explains the product characteristics in detail, providing tips for the calculation and installation of vibration systems.

"By reissuing this catalogue, we are providing ready access to our product range, especially for new customers. With the detailed product information, we are giving developers what they need to know to select the right product," notes Ziegenmeyer.
