ContiTech Presents New Mount
The series B SCHWINGMETALL® mounting elements are low-cost and easy to mount
The new series B elastomer mounts from ContiTech are marketed under the SCHWINGMETALL® brand and designed to provide good acoustic decoupling in a load range of 80 to 500 kilograms.
The series B SCHWINGMETALL® mounting elements are particularly well suited for mounting engines, aggregates and driver's cabs. Three sizes are available as standard, each of which also comes in three shore hardness levels. A single central screw is all that is required to attach the mount.

ContiTech Absorbers Noticeably Reduce Vibrations
Enhanced comfort and guaranteed compliance with directives – Absorber systems can be added to existing industrial and agricultural vehicle models
Legal provisions specify that vehicle drivers must be subjected to as few vibrations as possible. Vibrations reduce the permissible number of working hours and make it more difficult to use controls and read displays. Tailor-made absorber systems from ContiTech Vibration Control enable manufacturers to upgrade vehicle designs.
In absorbers, a mass vibrates in such a way as to counteract annoying resonances. The spring-mass system attunes vibration behavior, while a separate elastomer supporting body has a cushioning and dampening effect. It is also possible to use types with an integrated fluid system (hydraulic dampers). In this case, support spring characteristics can be optimized independent of the damping characteristics. ContiTech also develops and manufactures active absorber systems, which use sensors to detect the transmitted vibrations and generate counteracting vibrations.
An ideal absorber is designed based on measurement data. The driver notices a difference as soon as the product is installed in the vehicle. The absorber's effectiveness can be objectively evaluated by means of fresh measurements.

New Bell Mount from ContiTech Suspends Hanging Loads of Up to 300 Kilos
Fully galvanized rubber-metal mount for a large number of possible applications - Reduces the transmission of vibrations through suspended ceilings and piping
ContiTech is expanding its product range with the new SCHWINGMETALL® bell mount for the suspension of hanging objects. The rubber-metal mount can bear loads of between 150 and 300 kilos.
The mount has a low natural frequency, enabling the product to optimally isolate vibrations even at low excitation frequencies. The application possibilities are extremely varied. For instance, the new bell mount can be used to suspend the ceiling of a sound studio and make it perfectly vibration-proof, thus preventing undesired vibrations from negatively affecting recording work. The new mounts can also used with heavy pipes in buildings and thus guarantee largely isolated vibrations. The fully galvanized rubber-metal mount has a rebound buffer. In an emergency, carrying capacity is guaranteed solely by the metal parts. The mount is already available for delivery.
